Hi! Quick reminder that tomorrow, August 31, is the final day to download the current Fighterdiet member resources.
After that, the old member downloads come down as Fighterdiet Academy moves into its new September structure.

Yes. LinkedIn is a good fit for the longer version with a professional photo. It reads as coaching/education and demonstrates that you apply the same principles you teach. I would use a strong professional portrait rather than making it look like a promotional fitness post.
For YouTube, use the shorter version below:
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET RESULTS?
We know body composition takes time.
Then we’re two or three days in.
Nothing looks different.
“This isn’t working.”
Maybe it’s my metabolism. My hormones. Stress. Something must be wrong.
And we start changing the plan before we’ve given it enough time to work.
Last summer, I deliberately ate more to prioritize strength and muscle gain. I accepted carrying a little more body fat because building muscle requires energy.
When I decided to get leaner again, I went approximately SIX WEEKS before having a real refeed.
Six weeks.
No random extras. No surprise snacks. No cocktails. No “just this once.”
And yes, that required patience from me too.
The creator of Fighterdiet doesn’t somehow get an exemption from physiology.
Two or three days can change water, glycogen, digestion and how your body looks.
That is NOT the same as dramatically changing body fat.
This is why I use structured DEFEED-2-REFEED protocols.
The trap?
Doubt the process.
Change something.
Start over.
Doubt again.
Start over again.
STOP RESTARTING.
Stay consistent long enough to discover what your consistency can actually produce.

500 RECIPES. BUT WHERE ARE YOUR RESULTS?
The Fighterdiet Recipe App gave you access to approximately 500 recipes. If collecting recipes were enough to produce lasting results, you would already have everything you needed.
The recipe app is not returning at this time.
But Fighterdiet is not gone. I have changed how I teach it.
Recipes give you options. Education teaches you how to use them.
Inside Fighterdiet Academy, I teach the nutritional intervals I use to build and maintain a lean body—from calorie deficit to refeed. This is continuous education, not another plan to follow without understanding why.
That understanding makes the difference.
When you repeatedly follow plans you do not understand, eventually you reach the point where you cannot face beginning again. That is diet depression: always starting, stopping and searching for the next solution.
It is time to learn what you have always struggled to solve.
I turned my own struggle with dieting into a system that works for me. Perhaps it can work for you too.
Thousands of five-week Fighterdiet Challenge contenders later, it is time to move beyond permanent project mode. Work on one focused practice at a time, learn from it and allow it to become part of your lifestyle.
That is how I live Fighterdiet. I am a practitioner of what I preach.

This is the antidote to yo-yo dieting.

Sharla Hello Sunshine! How are YOU doing? Are you training or taking time off?

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
Today I returned to training after my time off. I had hoped my body would be healed and ready to go, but I’m glad I didn’t walk into the gym expecting an amazing workout.
I didn’t want to go. I knew I had to hold back instead of training like a professional athlete arriving with endless motivation and energy. I was already demotivated knowing I would have to skip some of my favorite lifts again. It gets old accepting that certain lifts may no longer work for my body—but I still catch myself hoping.
I did my cardio and felt that familiar anxiety building around my weight-training ambitions. What if I couldn’t lift enough to gain more muscle? Was it time to accept a less ambitious goal, like simply staying in shape?
All the typical gym-rat worries showed up. Thankfully, this isn’t my first rodeo.
Let me cut to the chase: today’s training session was a complete disappointment to my mind. I wanted to return feeling stronger, pumped, and ready to train hard and gain. That is not what happened.
I had no drive. Part of me even felt relieved to have a possible excuse waiting: “I can’t train hard anymore, so now I just walk.”
What an easy fitness life that would be.
Then I pulled myself out of the role of Pauline the poor princess—a victim with limitations, oh, how sad!—and focused on making the session productive.
Instead of being butt-hurt because today’s reality wasn’t what I wanted it to be, I trained like a REAL professional athlete. I made the workout about recovery and strengthening what I could train without pain.
Was I happy when I walked out of the gym?
Yes—but not because I had a fantastic workout. I was happy because it was over, I had trained, and I hadn’t injured myself.
I wrote up the workout I did today for you here to hopefully motivate you to KEEP GOING even when it sucks you can't do exactly what you want to do! :-)
